Lenticular Experise
Lenticular printing can be complicated to get correct, but with over 25 years experience, you are in good hands. Please see below some common questions and answers to help you create a great project.
Questions & Answers
Artwork
The artwork needs to be suppied as any other printed item. For flip jobs we require 3mm bleed and would suggest where possible to supply the open/original files.
With 3D work we need additional bleed, this would depend on the size of the item, we can need as much as 15mm extra each side. Please discuss this with us prior to sending the artwork. Please download our artwork guide to help you.
Designs
A good Lenticular is only as good as the initial design. We highly recommend sharing your initial designs at an early stage so we can advise on do's and dont's. The biggest problem with flip files is ghosting try to avoid very contrasting colours especially with hard lines. We have produced a guide with some more helpful tips. Please follow this link to download it.
Timings
Timings will depend on quantity and material availability. But most smaller print runs can be produced in 5-7 working days from approval.
Proofing
We offer a digital proof. These can be opened through most web browsers. We can offer digitally printed proofing, but this would be an extra £150 and if the job didnt go any further or you needed artwork changes it would be a further £150.
Samples
We try to keep a selection of overs from the work we print. We are always happy to send you some samples, free of charge. this should give you ideas and confidence in our lenticular prints.
